How to use Launch X431 PAD VII on BMW F-chassis for Auto Start/Stop Permanent Coding

Tutorial on how to use Launch X431 Pad VII on BMW F-chassis for Auto Start / Stop Permanent Coding. Car model: BMW 318i 2016.11.BMW F chassis programming, using Launch X431 PAD VII

Hook Launch X431 PAD VII up BMW F-chassis, select “Local Diagnose”.

Select “Europe”, then “BMW”.

Select “Automatically Search” to view the BMW car information.

Scan the system is normal or abnormal.

And then “System List”, make sure there is no DTC.

Select “Personalization”.

Select “CAS (Car Access System – CAS/ FEM/BDC)”.

Select “Function Selection”.

Enable auto start &stop memorized last state;

Enable switch off auto start &stop by default.

Enable the window up when open the door, need to modify corresponding items in FRM.

Click on “OK” and wait until it says “Recoding has been completed”.

Back to “Automatically Search” and scan the system.

Alright, there is no DTC.
