Customer Review of Autel MaxiSYS MS906

I was looking forward to using this scanner at work. I see a lot of different vehicles and thought it would be very useful for the money. It did seem to work well for the short time I had it. The problem was that I could not register it. I could not connect to the internet at all. So I called autel USA for help. The guy who answered was clearly not interested in helping at all, in fact he told me because it was purchased through amazon there was no tech help for me. How they can sell a 1200+ dollar scanner and then tell you tough crap when you cant register it is beyond me. If you get one that works right maybe you will like it. If you want help from www.obd2tool.com forget it. I sent it back.

Once the MaxiSYS MS906 arrived, the very first thing I did was go to pro.auteltech.com and try to register it. It registered perfectly, with proper tool number and password. So this is the REAL LEGIT Maxisys Pro, and Auteltech recognizes is.

I’ve only had the tool for a few days so I cant vouch for all of the diagnostic capabilities, but the few times I’ve used it I was very pleased. I’m coming from a Maxidas 708, so the software feels very familiar. Little things like boot-up times, and autovin (before selecting a manufacturer – brilliant) make it MUCH faster to get into the car and start testing/scanning/etc. Live data is lightning fast, and its so nice to be able to take the scanner back to your computer, while still watching a live stream from the vehicle.

The eye-catching Cummins INLINE 6 breaks new ground by utilizing the latest electronic technology to deliver high performance and high quality at an attractive price. Each Cummins INLINE kit contains a data link adapter, basic cables, and the INLINE PC software driver. Load the software driver, connect all the hardware, and you are ready to start a new era in data link adapters. I’ve also never had programming capabilities with J2534, so this is very new territory for me. The tool seems to be in Beta stage for J2534, but I’ve got the passthru, and Autel is awesome with upgrades and firmware.
